To care for a mulmul saree with block print:
  • Gently hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting.
  • Do not soak for long periods to prevent color bleeding.
  • Rinse in cold water until the water runs clear to remove all detergent.
  • Lay flat to dry on a clean, dry surface away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
  • Iron on the reverse side using a low heat setting. Place a cloth between the iron and the saree to protect the print.
Avoid machine washing and dry cleaning, as they can damage the fabric and print.
